About Bradley
Bradley Russell is CEI’s Sustainable Agriculture & Food Systems Program Director, where she works to grow the resilience and profitability of Maine and regional agricultural and food businesses while supporting sustainable agriculture production, processing, marketing, and retail systems helping create access to safe, affordable locally produced foods, especially among low-income communities.
Bradley comes to CEI from the Maine Manufacturing Extension Partnership, a non-profit consulting organization for small manufacturers in Maine, where she performed as the Operations and Marketing Coordinator working with the field team to ensure alignment with strategic plan and funding requirements. Bradley’s roots both in her experience and education are at the heart of sustainability in food and ag systems. She was a part of Oke USA Fruit Co, a fresh produce subsidiary of Equal Exchange, a leading brand of fair-trade organic food products, as their Sales and Operations Manager, and most recently as the Chair, Board of Directors. She has also been a part of High Mowing Organic Seeds Company, a 100% certified organic vegetable, fruit, herb, and sunflower seed company holding roles of Business Process and Project Manager, and Merchandising Manager. Managing operations of a small produce business and a vegetable seed company has provided Bradley with a valuable perspective and a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of agricultural and food businesses.
Bradley is a member of the Leadership Maine, Casco Class 2022, she holds a Master of Business Administration in Sustainable Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business and a Bachelor or Arts in Anthropology and Spanish from Colby College. Bradley is native in English language and is proficient in Español. She enjoys biking, gardening, and baking.
