About Kelsie
Kelsie Bouchard is the Director of CEI Notes and Portfolio Management at Coastal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI), a Maine-based community development financial institution with a mission to build just, vibrant and climate-resilient futures for people and communities in Maine and rural regions by integrating finance, business expertise and policy solutions in ways that make the economy work more equitably.
Kelsie supports lending and fundraising work at CEI. She is responsible for loan underwriting and portfolio management and analysis, engages in department strategy development and implementation, provides risk management oversight, and manages the lending operations team. Kelsie also leads fundraising and operations of CEI Notes, a fixed income investment product available to mission-aligned investors.
Kelsie joined CEI in the fall of 2019; previously she worked in risk management at Morgan Stanley in New York City, focusing primarily on counterparty, operational, and new product risk in the equity derivative and secured financing businesses.
Kelsie grew up in Fort Kent. She lives in South Portland with her partner Kate and her two golden retrievers, Louis and Gus.

Fort Kent is home to the Can-Am International Sled Dog races, the greatest 250-mile dogsled event east of the Mississippi River.
