Important Update: CEI Response to COVID-19 Pandemic

March 13, 2020 (Brunswick, ME) – To help keep our communities safe, effective Monday, March 13, CEI staff members will be working remotely and our offices are closed to the public. SBA Resources

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) approved Governor Mills’ application for SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans to help Maine businesses overcome any temporary loss of revenue due to the novel coronavirus, otherwise known as COVID-19 on March 16th. Maine is one of the first states in the country to be approved, and Maine small business owners can now begin applying for these loans.

Furthermore, in collaboration with the Department of Economic and Community Development, the SBA and its Resource Partners: U.S. Small Business Administration, SCORE and Women Business Centers will be providing workshops to answer questions and to help small businesses with the loan application process.
