About Ryan

Ryan Green is the Director of Lending at Coastal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI), a Maine-based community development financial institution with a mission to build just, vibrant and climate-resilient futures for people and communities in Maine and rural regions by integrating finance, business expertise and policy solutions in ways that make the economy work more equitably.

As CEI’s Director of Lending, he manages, leads, supervises, and oversees CEI’s production team including supervision of Loan and Investment Officers, reviewing incoming applications, and managing deal flow. Ryan is responsible for annual production volume and budget goals, helping to grow CEI’s loan and investment portfolio to a record $65MM. Ryan performs all aspects of small business lending, including business development, financial analysis, technical assistance, and portfolio management. Ryan also serves as Vice President of subsidiary company 30 Federal Street Investments, LLC, underwriting and managing deals which deliver state historic tax credits as equity investments to help rehabilitate historic properties, revitalize downtowns, and create affordable housing.

Ryan began his career at CEI in 2018, holding various positions within the Lending Department. Prior to joining CEI, he worked for 9 years at Seafax, Inc. in several roles, including Senior Portfolio & Credit Manager. Duties included detailed financial and credit analysis, accounts receivable management, reviewing and approving credit limits, and managing credit insurance policies. Ryan is also in the process of obtaining his MBA from the University of Maine. Having grown up in Maine, Ryan is often spending time with his family on Chebeague Island, particularly during the summer months.
