Hearth and Harrow

Hearth and Harrow is an eco-friendly screen printing studio based in Rockport. They specialize in designing and hand-printing organic, nature-inspired textile goods and apparel such as tea towels, cloth napkins, pillows, and super rad t-shirts. All of their products are made with 100% certified organic cotton and are safe for you, your family, and the environment!

As an artist and environmentalist, owner Casey Everett spent many years searching for kitchen linens that were not only stylish and cool but that could withstand the wear and tear of a busy household without having a negative impact on the environment. One happy day, she decided to try her hand at making them herself! Hearth and Harrow goods are now sold in over 150 retail locations nationwide, and in many of their beloved communities in Maine. You can catch them at the United Farmers Market of Maine in Belfast every Saturday, the Common Ground Country Fair this fall, and lots of other events around the state..

“Owning a business requires lots of hard work and know-how and having the CEI Women’s Business Center as a resource has allowed me to take my business planning to a whole new level. Scaling up Hearth and Harrow to meet our production needs has proven to be one of the most challenging (and intimidating!) aspects of business ownership and without the help and guidance of WBC’s amazing staff I would not have known where to start. I would certainly recommend their services to any entrepreneur looking to up their game!”
