CEI Welcomes Alison Lane as Small Business Advisor in Bangor
(Bangor, Maine- May 30, 2019) Coastal Enterprises, Inc. (CEI) welcomes Alison Lane as a new small business advisor. She is joining Ann McAlhany in their Maine Small Business Development (SBDC) office in Bangor.
Maine SBDC Advisors at CEI advise small business owners on a variety of matters throughout a company’s lifecycle, from facilitating start-ups to expanding a business, with knowledge on everything from accounting to packaging. Advisors also hold educational workshops and work with the community to further the mission of CEI, strengthening an economy that works for everyone.
Alison is already well known in the region as an entrepreneur herself. Previously she started and grew the Logical Sip Cafe & Bakery in nearby Brewer. Alison had the vision to start a profitable hotspot, a place where people could come to fulfill all of their baked needs. There, she hired and trained a full staff, built a 1,000 sq. foot space to accommodate her work, and was profitable within her first three years. All of these experiences help her to counsel other entrepreneurs.
Alison earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and MBA from the University of Maine, Orono.
